Day 1 Arrive Rio de Janeiro
Golden swathes of famous coastline, tropical landscapes and a certain joie de vivre will welcome you to one of the world’s most vibrant cities, Rio de Janeiro. Energy pulses through every pore of this passionate and fun loving city, flooding from the favelas to the football fields and cumulating in nightly parties where the caipirinhas are free flowing and the samba rhythm is infectious. Rio may be best known for its annual Carnival, but visiting here you’ll realise that every day is cause for celebration. Settle in to your hotel before meeting up with your Travel Director this afternoon. Then perhaps hit the sands of Copacabana to watch the sun set whilst you sip your first Cachaça.
Day 2 Rio de Janeiro sightseeing and free time
The picturesque Cosme Velho district will be your first port of call today, where 1920’s neocolonial buildings will surround you as you board the Corcovado Rack Railway. Hopping on board you’ll wind your way through the Tijuca Forest to the very top of the Corcovado Mountains, standing in awe as you catch a first glimpse of the 30 meter high Christ the Redeemer. The undisputed icon of Rio, this magnificent art deco statue is one of the new 7 Wonders of the World and offers the best vantage point of the ‘Marvelous City’ stretching out below.
Day 3 Rio de Janeiro City free time
Waking up to your final full day in Rio, today is free to explore your way. For those keen to get a closer look, you could also opt for a half day city tour of Rio which includes ascending the Sugarloaf Mountain by cable car for absolutely stand out views of Guanabara Bay. Tonight, celebrate the culture of South America at the Carretão Ipanema Churrascaria.
Day 04 Rio de janeiro -Manaus
After breakfast ,check out hotel,drop at airport to connect flight to Manaus,on arrival Manaus meet & transfer to hotel,fresh at hotel,evening leisure walk at Manaus street ,overnight stay at Manaus.
Day 05 Manaus-Local sightseeing:
Start with pickup from the lobby of your hotel and travel from Manaus by speed boat to Cacau Pirera. Travel by car to the village of Paricatuba. From this village, travel by motorized canoe to the Lodge. After lunch, with the bilingual guide, take a canoe trip through small creeks and go fishing for piranhas. A nocturnal expedition will allow you to see alligators and other wildlife that are hidden during the daytime.
Day 06 Manaus-Lima
After breakfast,check out hotel,transfer & drop at Airport to connect flight to Lima this morning, bound for the ‘City of the Kings’, Lima. Rising above a long coastline of crumbling cliffs the city has a real sense of faded yet romantic grandeur, with historical sights a plenty and a culinary scene that is revered the world over. Arriving here you’ll have the rest of the day free to explore, which isn’t hard to do in this cultural and artsy city. Head to Parque del Amor to admire the Gaudi style architecture with beautiful views over Lima Bay, or take a wander around popular and bustling Miraflores. Tonight, in celebration of your first night in Peru, dinner should absolutely involve fresh ceviche followed by a tangy Pisco Sour as you toast to sunset.
Day 07 Lima sightseeing and free time
Visit the famous Plaza Mayor and Cathedral as well as the Government Palace, Archbishop’s Palace and City Hall. Delve into the dark history of the San Francisco Monastery, a museum featuring mysterious catacombs. Your afternoon and evening are free to join one of our exciting choice experiences. Take a walking tour with a local expert of the lively Miraflores district highlighting the Boardwalk of Miraflores, a cliff rising above the ocean at around 130 feet and the Larcomar shopping area. Or, indulge your taste buds on a food tour through Barranco or a street food tour – from coffee to churros – through Lima’s city center. In the evening, opt to visit the colorful, musical Magic Water Fountains of Lima.
Day 08 Lima – Cusco – Sacred Valley
Flying into Cusco, welcome to the Incan capital of the world! Boasting the richest heritage of any South American city, Cusco is a wealth of archaeological greatness and the oldest continuously inhabited city on the continent. It’s also the gateway to Machu Picchu, so throbs day and night with visitors exploring its ancient streets. Take in the ornate temples and Incan ruins as you arrive here. On the way to Sacred Valley, join a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience during your visit to Chinchero Sunday market, still a very original market where you can find fruit and vegetable vendors as well as the occasional souvenir stall. Your guide will introduce you to some local produce such as potatoes, and if you wish, you can also taste some of the fruit. Make your way to a local Chichería to enjoy a typical lunch from the region. Learn about chicha, a local drink made of corn, and admire llamas and alpacas before making your way to the hotel.
Day 09 Machu Picchu excursion
Today is the day! Up bright and early this morning, you’ll travel to the ancient little town of Ollantaytambo to board the train to Aguas Calientes, the Incan village at the base of Machu Picchu. Slowly chugging your way through the rugged lands of the Sacred Valley, feel the excitement levels build as you pass by village settlements and towering mountains, the landscape changing as you descend. Making the last leg of the journey via shuttle, you’ll finally arrive at the most famous archaeological site of South America and one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu. Catching a first glimpse of this awe inspiring ancient city above the clouds is a moment you’ll never forget, so be sure to take a few minutes just to soak it all in. Take your time exploring the vast complex of fascinating ruins and let the mind boggle at how it was all built, before descending the mountain and making your way back to the Sacred Valley. Visit the local home of Mrs. Rosa. Her house goes at least 7 generations back and is a fine example of Incan architecture. Learn more about how guinea pigs are raised, as well as ancient traditions kept alive until this day.
Day 10 Sacred Valley – Cusco
Begin your day in Pisaq, famous for its local market and empanadas. Taste the local food at a women-owned and operated empanada workshop. Learn from Mrs. Ernestina how to make empanadas out of seven different kinds of flour before enjoying the empanadas for lunch. Continuing on to Cusco you’ll also stop by the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, a UNESCO World Heritage site that dates back to the 13th century, before arriving at the Incan capital of Cusco. Embark on a sightseeing tour of ancient Cusco visiting Coricancha, the Temple of the Sun and most important temple in the Incan Empire, before admiring the bounty of colonial art on display in the Cathedral.
Day 11 Cusco sightseeing
Kick off the final day of your tour joining for an optional experience. Head to Moray and Maras to see Incan farming and salt mining techniques at play or visit 17th century Piquillacta to view the pre-Incan citadel built by the Wari people. Another option is to indulge your sweet tooth with a visit to the Choco Museum to learn more about the Peruvian chocolate making process. In town, tour Cusco after dark learning the secrets of this ancient city or experience Cusco off the beaten track visiting tiny stores and cemeteries with plenty of personal stories along the way. If you’re looking for an all-day adventure, join a trip to Rainbow Mountain where you’ll take a rigorous hike through breathtaking scenery of mountains and lakes.
Day 12 Day 1: La paz arrival
Our team will be waiting for you upon your arrival in the city of La Paz. We will assist you and transfer you to your hotel so you can rest and acclimatize to the altitude of the city. La Paz remains the highest capital city in the world and the busiest city in Bolivia. La Paz maintains its historical heritage of cultural traditions and combines them with the new trends of architectural design in the city, such as the cable car that connects all points of the city.
Day 13 Full-day sun island + copacabana tour
After an early breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to the town of Copacabana where our staff will be waiting for you. We will head to the Bolivian side of the Titicaca Lake where our tour starts. We are going to board a boat to navigate through Titicaca Lake to Sun Island and visit the Palace of the Inca which is thought to be the spiritual entrance to the sacred island. Then we will arrive at the town of Yumani on the top of the hill to visit the Inca Stairs that will take us to the Fountain of the 3 Basins. When we come back from Sun Island, you will have lunch in a local restaurant before heading to La Paz for overnight.
Day 14 Arrival to santiago de chile and city tour
Start thi s dream journey with the arrival of the largest city in Chile. Our Gotolatam staff will assist you upon arrival and transfer you to your chosen hotel so you can rest. In the afternoon, you will be picked up from your hotel in Santiago de Chile to start your city tour. You will visit the Plaza de Armas, Cathedral, and Palacio de la Moneda in the Center of Santiago. Then, we will visit Las Condes, which is the most modern part, where you will find the tallest buildings in South America surrounded by the Andes Mountains. At the end of the tour, we will take you back to your hotel so you can rest.
Day 15: Full-day tour to viña del mar and valparaiso
Experience the best of Chilean coastal beauty: a full-day tour to Viña del Mar and Valparaíso, which are the two most charming coastal cities in Chile. We are going to start with a 120-kilometer trip along the Pacific Ocean coast, arriving at the port city of Valparaíso, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2003. Valparaiso is a city that breathes life into its streets. From the moment you step foot into this vibrant coastal town, you are greeted with a kaleidoscope of colors, intriguing street art, and a sense of energy that permeates every corner. The most iconic places to visit are Plaza Sotomayor, the monument to the naval heroes, and the lifts that will take you to the top of the historic hills of Valparaíso. The next stop is Viña del Mar, better known as The Garden City, where you will enjoy visiting the beautiful beaches, the colorful gardens, and the unique pedestrian paths. Here, we are going to slow down our itinerary and give you some free time to relax contemplate the ocean, and enjoy a local meal at the shoreline restaurants.
DAY 16 Santiago -Iguaza
After having breakfast, we will pick you up at your hotel to transfer you to the Buenos Aires International Airport, where you will board your flight to Puerto Iguazu. Upon your arrival, our staff will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel so you can have the afternoon free to rest.
Day 17 Iguazu falls national park – argentine side
In the morning you will be picked up to start your full-day tour to visit the wonderful Argentinian Falls side. Consider that Iguazu Falls are located in the border between Paraguay, Argentina, and Brazil but the Argentinian side has almost two-thirds of the Iguazu Falls. The most incredible place that you will visit on your tour of the Iguazu National Park on this day is the Devil’s Throat, where it is possible to see the strong waterfall from the top. Next, our captain will make a stop at the foot of the Tres Mosqueteros Falls and the San Martín Falls. We recommend you keep your personal belongings in a safe place because you will get wet with the baptism of the Falls. Once your tour ends, you will be escorted to your hotel in Puerto Iguazu for the night.
Day 18 Brazilian side of iguazu falls and return to buenos aires
Early in the morning your tour of the Brazilian side of the Iguazu Fall will start with breathtaking panoramic views of the falls around the Iguazu National Park. You will have the opportunity to take a walk through the trails to appreciate landscapes out of this world. The next place to visit on this day is the Bird Park located in the Iguazu National Park where you will find a large amount of birds in danger of extinction. This sanctuary protects the birds from illegal trafficking and keeps them in giant aviaries. When your visit ends, you will be taken back to Puerto Iguazu and take a flight to Buenos Aires.
Day 19 Buenos aires city tour and tango show
A Magical half day tour in Buenos Aires starts with a visit to the most iconic buildings in the city: The National Congress (Parliament), the Civic Center that includes the Plaza de Mayo, surrounded by the Government House – most known as ¨Casa Rosada¨, the Metropolitan Cathedral and Colon Theater which is one of the best Opera Houses in the world. Your Buenos Aires city tour continues with a visit to the traditional neighborhood of San Telmo and the worldwide known Italian neighborhood of La Boca where we are going to have a short stop to take photos of the neighborhood, Caminito La Boca, and the stadium. Then we will head to the modern area of Buenos Aires where you will be able to visit Puerto Madero, the neighborhood of Palermo that is full of colorful gardens, parks, and small forests in the heart of Buenos Aires. We will finish our Buenos Aires city tour with a visit to The Recoleta Cultural Center, recognized for its cultural and artistic events that bring together a large part of the young people who live in the city of Buenos Aires. At night, you are going to attend a tango show at La Ventana restaurant which is an iconic Buenos Aires restaurant with more than 40 years of serving the most delicious Argentinean food and wines followed by a passionate and seductive dance form known as tango.
Day 20 Buenos aires -Departure:
After breakfast check out hotel do some shopping near malls,later drop at airport to connect flight to guest destination.
